Types of Canopies:
There are so many types of Canopies which vary in designs, usage, structure, type of material.
Used. Some of the basic types are discussed below:

1) Carport Canopy Roofs
This style of canopy roof is designed to protect a person’s car from the sun or the rain. They are built of strong materials like steel and aluminum and are open on all sides. Metal is the most typical material used to construct carports. There are three different types of Carport Canopy roofs. They are:
A) Steel carport
B) Wooden Carport
C) Aluminium Carport

2) Entrance Canopy
They are exposed on all sides, and canopies like those at entrances typically do not shield people from the rain or excessive heat. Entrance canopies are used to designate entrances and flagpoles and offer shade. There are four types:
A) Square entrance canopy
B) Rectangle entrance canopy
C) Round Entrance Canopy

D) Triangular Entrance Canopy
E) Pitched Entrance Canopy

3) Garden Canopy
Garden canopies are larger because they need to cover a lot more territory than shade canopies. Although it has an “L” shape, it is often relatively light. Garden canopies require at least three people to put them together, and a ladder is necessary if you want to place them on top of your roof. As a result, they are difficult to install.

4) Dome Canopy
Dome canopies are particularly prevalent in many commercial buildings because, despite their appearance of fragility, they are rather strong. When viewing the structure from a distance, the dome canopy is a focal point since it attracts your attention and exudes an air of awe.

5) Dutch Canopy
Due to the fact that Dutch canopy roofs are typically built of steel, wood, or bamboo, they are extremely similar to umbrella canopies. The name of this kind of Canopy, which resembles an inverted tulip, was obtained from its shape. It works best on patios and porches where you can relax. Even if there are many people walking beneath it, it will still offer enough shade.

6) Pyramid Canopy
Pyramid canopies are the most expansive due to their size. Although they have a classy appearance, given that they are composed of metal or wood, you should expect them to be very hefty. They are inappropriate for locations with heavy winds because they are susceptible to toppling over, which would result in significant damage.

Types of Gazebos:

1) Portable Gazebo

They are easy to carry and lightweight. The features of portable gazebos include a steel frame with a straight leg, a full truss design, a thumb latch lock mechanism, water resistance, 95% UV protection, and fire resistance, among others. 3) Wooden Gazebo
They are made from good-quality raw materials and can be used for residential purposes. They are elegant and are mostly used in parks and other hilly areas.

4) Metal gazebo
They are made of metals like steel, wrought iron, and aluminum. They are durable and have elegance. They require less maintenance with less resistance to insects.

5) Tensile Gazebo

This can enhance the beauty of a greenery place and is used mainly in parks. They are unbreakable and easy to install. The material used is fabric and can be resistant to wear and tear. It is resistant to fading and fire.

6) Temporary Gazebo
Permanent gazebos may have ornate carvings, ironwork, or moldings. Most of these feature a type of floor, such as a hardwood floor, a cement slab, or elevated wood. On the other hand, temporary pavilions are made up of walls and a roof. Or simply the roof. The wall option offers defense against the elements and pests. This is transportable to a camping area or a beach. It is fairly simple to erect.

Difference between Canopy and Gazebo:
A gazebo is a standalone building, whereas a canopy is often used as a roof on a frame, like a cabana.
This is the fundamental distinction between the two. A Canopy is a roof-like structure and lies on the
Frame. Whereas Gazebo is a freestanding structure and may have walls or screens attached for added privacy and protection.

What should the user choose?
Ultimately, your preferences will determine the ideal option for your outside area. Gazebos and canopies compliment your patio’s furniture and accessories while protecting it from the sun, rain, and hail. A gazebo can provide a roomy, designated area if you like because of its intricate design and usefulness.
